Well, I spent nearly 2 hours in the sports shop and had a gait analysis test, I settled on these beauties. The chap in the shop was very knowledgeable, giving me loads of advice about stretches and exercises to do before, after and on rest days, then making me run again on the treadmill wearing the final two choices of shoes most suitable. These ones felt the best, so comfortable and soft. Bit of an upgrade from my ladies Lidl running shoes! πββοΈπββοΈ

New Running Shoes!
Ooh I want to do this, was going to post asking which shops do the gait analysis?? Not sure I can bear 2 hours though!
I think most specialist running shops do. I've been to my local one for proper fitting twice, with gait analysis, and it's not taken more then 30-45 mins either time I'm sure.
Oh, the gait analysis didn't take 2 hours! It was the chatting about what types of exercises and stretches to do before and in between runs, trying on different shoes and then 2 final runs on the treadmill to make the final decision on which pair at took most of the time. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ooh Brooks. Luvvly jubbly π
Lovely! I'm getting shoe envy again - even though I love love love my Christmas ones!
Which Brooks are they? They look lovely. I'm a big Brooks Ravenna fan but my ones are 6 and I think they have gone to 8 now.
