Completed this run this morning, after a 2 week injury break. Park was empty cept for early dog walkers and squirrels. Magical! Run was fine, starting to feel a slight 'burn' in the calf muscles during the final 3 minutes, but completed with some puff left. Can't quite believe I'm doing this and loving it! Always thought I would choose warm bed over early morning run any day! Love the mental high afterwards that lasts all day😊

Really well done especially after your 2 week break, I said you do it. I’ve not ran yet today, I always run in the evening.

You should be chuffed with yourself.

Thanks, more surprised at myself! Hopefully the high will carry me through a return to the classroom tomorrow after nearly 6 months. Strange times🙄

I don’t want to put a hex on myself but that went so much better than the 2 weeks ago. I’ve got proper running shoes (had a gait analysis), I’ve slowed my pace and I stretch before my run, first time. I don’t know if any of that had anything to do with it or that I’ve been drinking water today like it’s been going out of fashion but I’ll take it as a win.

Hey Blondefox, if I (a fat balding sparky can do this) anyone can .... I’m not selling myself am I?!

No, you need to work on that!😂

Sounds like the run was great though, good on you.
