W3R1 Done!

Completed the first run of week 3! Huzzah! And it was definitely easier than I thought it might be, especially as I actually remembered to go slow this week... :P No racing off this time. This run was also a day later than I'd planned (lack of sleep and stress persuaded me that a lie in yesterday, followed by a full day of revision would be more productive), and I don't know why I keep putting it off - even when stressed about exams, I always end a run beaming because of the high of finishing it, and for the 30 minutes or so of the run I always end up forgetting what I'm stressing about anyway... :P Regardless, I'm definitely looking forward to Thursday's run ^-^

  • Congratulations Adler, hope the side isn't giving you too much trouble. I ran W3R2 this morning and am definitely finding easier longer runs and less of them. Keep up the good work :)

  • Thanks Bunty :) It's just about holding out thanks - it's always fine while I'm running, it's afterwards where it makes its complaints known. Ho hum :P

Congrats on finishing W3R2! Glad you're finding things easier :) And the same to you! ^-^

  • Well done! Great to hear it was easier than you imagined. :-)

  • Thanks :) Me too, especially as I'd managed to psyche myself out a bit into believing there was no way I'd be able to do it. A mental slap later though, it was fine :P

  • Woo Hoo ! Fantastic , youre doing soo well !

The time is flying by, Week 3 already ...

Youre doing great, keep going ! :-D xxx

  • Thank you! It's definitely going quicker than I imagined, and I can already see an improvement in my stamina, which is nice :3 Weird to think that by the end of this week (barring any unforeseen problems...) I'll be a third of the way through the programme... xxx
