I havent felt the need to post on here before ...... But today I do! I started C25K in the middle of January but came to an abrupt halt when I hurt my ankle, 5 weeks later I started again at week 2 which I completed last week and today was the start of week 3 which I was dreading! It didn't help that I was having to run in the morning rather than in the evening, however with the support of my 17 year old son (who jogs gently alongside me saying 'come on mum you can do it' ) and the sun shining on the beach (I live on the North Wales coast) I am proud to say I have completed it ........... And the 3 minutes weren't as bad as I thought they would be!

Hooray! Just keep on doing what you are doing. How nice to have your son supporting you. He must be proud of his mum. Good luck!

Thank you - without him today I may have struggled!

Well done, you're doing brilliantly, and your son sounds lovely :)

Thanks GLudwig, I am determined to do this. My son is lovely....but then I might be slightly biased 😜

Why do you think your son says 'come on mum you can do it' ? Its because you CAN and you ARE doing it. Well done for giving it another go after hurting your ankle so near the beginning when it would have been easy to give up. You go for it !

Well done on giving it another go and completing it. I am sure your son is as proud of his mum as you are of him.

I live on the Estuary so I am now running along the North Wales Coastal Path :). The tide, birds and the view all help me through my runs. I stop thinking of running and just think about how great it is to live here (even though in the summer I am cursing the A55 :()
