I thought I'd feel elated but actually feel a little sad. This journey has really given me something different to focus on and I've (tentatively) enjoyed some of it. I'm yet to make it to 5K - 3.82km according to my watch. I was slightly disappointed as the distance didn't change from my previous two runs despite my having finished closer to home. I think my watch is stuck Then I have to read that last bit back and remind myself that I'm 58, slightly arthritic, haven't run in years, and only 10 weeks ago struggled to run for a minute! I haven't posted much but read a lot. So thanks to everyone for keeping me motivated - even though you didn't even know you did
Week 9 Run 3 complete: I thought I'd feel elated... - Couch to 5K
Week 9 Run 3 complete
Bossed it! Congratulations. Seems like a good day to graduate, I just did this morning
Congratulations on your graduation.. fantastic achievement. π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³
You can feel a little bereft at the end of the programme..
But there is still much to aim for, and support out there.
There's the C25K stepping stones..speed.stamina programme. With Laura to guide you through. Terrible music though π€£
And the bridge to 10 k programme.
But consolidation runs 1st.
I used week 9 run 3 ..for a few consolidation runs.as I missed the structure.
Enjoy your graduation day....how far you have come ππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌππ
Well doneπ
Woo hoo! Congrats...and here's another of today's graduates celebrating with you!
Hey, well done! πππ
Don't feel disheartened, that's about the distance i was doing on graduating. I've just done my 9th consolidation run and hit 5k it'll come.
Well done ππ... great achievement!! π₯π₯
I would not get hung up on distance ... the achievement is you have run for 30 mins !! Think back 1 minute in W1R1... to now ! ... huge congratulations ... you are now a runner ππ»ββοΈ πββοΈ ... and a C25K graduate π
Congratulations! πΎππ
Congratulations Slothdriver - a fantastic achievement and, as you say, itβs not so long ago that you struggled to run for 60 seconds and now you can do it for 30 minutes non-stop! Donβt be disheartened at not getting to 5k - in fact most of us donβt. But C25K is a catchier title than Couch to 30 minutes isnβt it?! You can now do your consolidation runs for a few weeks which may get you to 5k but if not, youβll be in a much better position to extend your running time to get to 5k. Huge congratulations again - happy running! ππππ
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K π ππΎ π
