Ok..... after debating whether to start my challenge in the rain I decided to wait it out and hope the weather improved. I didn’t want to give myself any excuses to drop it all by having a miserable first experience. After my first performance I am under no illusion that this is going to be a 9 wk challenge for me. I manage my 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th 60 sec run with extended walks in between. Not a great start but it’s a start.
Glad I waited until this evening to enjoy these views xx

So ... if I read this right ... you ran 4 and walked the remainder! You’ve put a negative spin on it but let me flip that right now!!!
That is great!!! I’ve known people walk all!
I don’t think you realise how well you’ve done! 👏👏👏
Starting this is the hardest bit and you’re here trying!
And with such lovely views to run! You lucky lady... stick with each run until you complete as recommended.. it doesn’t have to b completed easily- every one I did was a challenge to me but I moved forward and so will you!
It’s true the saying “ the hardest part is starting” once those laces are tied and the music is on. Game on 🙌🏻. Good effort, good luck and keep on keeping on 🏃🤙🏻

Wow, the views are stunning. Wish I had that. Very therapeutic. I’m just doing this at my own pace - every step is an achievement for me and I must remember that. Hope it goes well for you. S
