Last night in the bitter cold l braved WK1 R1 with a couch25k group that has started in my local area. The trainers & volunteers were incredibly supportive.

I have recently lost 3st but still v overweight so hoping this helps my weight loss. I feel like l land heavy & flat on my feet so might need to look at my technique.

Looking forward to the future!

Well done on starting - that's the hardest part! You're lucky to have a group to give you moral support. You will also get lots of advice and encouragement from this forum, so keep posting!

I'm not qualified to advise on your running technique, but the experts on here will be able to help, I'm sure.

Good luck and happy running!
