I got overconfident in my first attempt at week 2 run 1 and ran too fast in the first run of the session, leaving nothing left in the tank for the final run. Remember to keep a slow pace.
Usain Bolt only has to run for 10 seconds. You have to last for nine minutes. π

I completed the program about 4 weeks ago and try to run three times a week now. Donβt focus on the 5K or you could end up pushing yourself too much. Get to the running for 30mins and concentrate on the distance after. I now can do 5K but in about 40mins but 14 weeks ago I would have laughed out loud if you to,d me I would almost enjoy the running!
