Just finished W2

I've noticed my knees hurt during the last 2 runs, they burn, when I return to the walking stage the pain eases. I'm hoping my body will adjust in time and 🀞 a few pounds might fall off me which will help

Real test for me next week. Do I stick with the safety and repeat W2 or move up to W3

At the moment I feel happy and confident that I'm coping, not stopping on the runs. What if W3 is sooooo hard I cant do it, I dont want to start feeling negative again

I might just see how I feel on the morning, but for now IVE COMPLETED WEEK 2 😁😁

Well done! If you’ve completed every run without stopping, then move on, although if you feel more comfortable repeating any runs, then do so, it’s your journey. You could try slowing down, too. I was running so slowly at that stage I was barely running faster than walking. Good luck!

I have slowed down and I really dont think I could slow myself any more !!

If someone was asking me I'd be telling them to move on, I really should take my own advice 😁

Well done on completing week 2 πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

And as you have completed it , why repeat ? Haha

You have done it, move on 😁if you had n't completed it then ok , repeat the run you didn't finish , but if you finished it go onto the next week !

When I was at this stage the best way I found to look at it was to think ok I've just finished week 2, that was 6 runs in each session.

Look at week 3 ! , It's only 4 runs 😬 (ignore the fact they are a little longer)

Just tell yourself you have 2 runs less to do each session than you did this week 😬

You can do it ! πŸ‘

Trust the program

Great advice, thanks.

It does make a difference to your head knowing it's less run cycles to complete

It's a confidence battle with me. I'd defo tell someone exactly what you've just told me, I'm just not very good at listening to myself 🀣

Trust me , I KNOW that feeling also !

This is just as much a mental challenge as it is physical.

I sometimes have very fierce battles with the voice in my head πŸ˜‚

Well done!! I felt exactly the same as you and used to have terrible pain in my legs. I started doing the strengthening exercises particularly for knees that are recommended on this forum and they have really helped. Definitely move on - you sound ready to me:)
