Up bright and early ready to complete Week 2. Tried out my new running belt and headband I keep wind out if ears and they worked a treat.
Ran with MJ and tried some music too today for first time which I liked.
The run went well and yes, you are all right it is getting easier each time I run. I can't believe I completed two weeks. ππ» Set to start week 3 on Friday morning. Dreading those 3 minute runs. Not sure if I can do it but am going to give it my best shot.

Well done on completing week 2 - good work. π Now you can really start to enjoy your progress. 3 mins sounds a lot, but you have been preparing for this, so am sure you will be fine. As always, take it nice and slow and establish a steady pace - and the 3 mins will be done before you know it. Don't dread! Be excited. π
Thank you Sadie. I'm surprised how much I've enjoyed it so far so maybe I can run for 3 minutes. I'll post on Friday. Yes, slow and steady and I should succeed now I'm getting used to breathing and running at the same time π΅
Brilliant! Not only will you manage the 3 minute runs but you'll get to week 6 and be running for over 20 minutes and then beyond! I cannot believe my progress. You'll definitely get there. This programme is amazing π π
Well done TJMazz , you're doing well so far ! The programme is so well designed that your body will actually be ready for week 3, so you just need to tell you brain you can do it and you'll be fine. Just watch out for those annoying gremlins and just ignore them if they try to put you off.
Well done!! you can do this ! I've just finished W3R3, and i too was a little worried about the 3 mins, but it was actually fine..more than fine.....was more of a mental issue than a physical one (and I am not fit at all!!). You will be SO proud when you do it! Wish me luck for the 5 mins in W4R1 tonight!
Disclaimer: l'm only on week 4... but Week 3 was my favorite out of the 4 so far!! Its so funny how it works... 60 seconds seems like an eternity.. then in week 2 you're thinking 90 seconds is awful and wishing for 60. Then week 3 the 3 minutes seem so daunting and you want the 90 seconds... week 4, well... you get the jist!! You can do it and then you'll look back and think "woah... 3 minutes of running was AWESOME"!!! (At least I did!)
Thank you. I see what you mean. Going for it with Week 3 on Friday. Good luck with your running journey π
Well done! It's a great feeling completing a week isn't it? The intervals get less annoying from here on in, but you will have gained strength and fitness, so I'm sure you will be fine. Keep it up, you're doing really well.
well done! i was with you today and just completed week 2 and I'm starting week 3 Saturday so let us know how you get on Friday and if you have any tips for getting through 3 minutes!
Ok, I'll post how I get on. I'm a little worried about the 3 minutes but hoping the last 2 weeks have prepared us for this next step. Good luck for Saturday π
