Thanks to everyone who responded to my previous post with positive feedback re: struggling slightly with W5R3 last week. I listened and slowed down plus repeated the run two days ago without sneaking in a cheeky walk.
Today I completed W6R1 (again, with no cheeky walking) and feel much better!
Managed 4.9km (inc. warm up/cool down walk).
Now to rest, stretch and prepare for W6R2!

Well done! Sounds like you’ve made adjustments and now you’ve got it covered! Snails pace has allowed me to get through the weeks. At one point I though my walking was faster than my running, but I went for a walk the other day and recorded it. I found that my running was slightly faster so was happy 😀. Good luck with the next one, oh I think that’s 2 x 10 minute runs, that’s a nice one! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Thanks Jools! I do feel that my running might be slower than my running at some points but my mission is not stop to a walk no matter how much my mind, body and would is begging me to! Although - today I didn’t hear those voices ....
