NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! The "F" word is not allowed here!!! ;)

It was a blip thats all Souki! Yes it is disappointing when this happens for no apparent reason but I bet if you try again tomorrow you will be fine. Give it a go and dont beat yourself up over it. We have all been there but have bounced back and carried on; you will too!

Sue :)

Same as Sue. Yes, it's tough, but it's just a bad run. It's not failing - failing is not going out of the door to try.

Week 6 run 1 is very hard for loads of people, probably because of the intervals - try clicking on the 'tags' (on the green bar) and you'll see you're not alone in finding it tough. The first five minutes of longer runs is always pretty much the hardest bit, so it's probably just about the hardest time to stop and start again.

Try making sure you're on a downhill bit, and going good and slow. But most of all, be kind to yourself. You've run 20 minutes, and you will again. You will bounce back. Believe us! :)

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again! Week 6 is tough but neccessary.

Good luck, you can do it :-) Delia

Hey Souki. Further to my last comment! I've just looked where you live on the directory page and see that it's Chesham! Well, I lived in Chesham many years ago, so can picture where you may do your running??! And is that a picture of a Vizsla? Our dog is a vizsla - aren't they great!

Hi petal, yes Souki Sue is a vizsla and she's my running partner, I also have a Weimaraner but she's an old lady now and doesn't get off the sofa much. My goal is to join the asheridge canicrossers, a group of 'runners' who run with their dogs, but if this week is anything to go by it'll be a long journey.

I tend to run around the 'pednor loop' top or bottom as its flatter, but yesterday I went off route towards Hyde Heath and hit a hill, think that's what did me in!!

Not what you're looking for?
