W9R3 Just finished my final run. I have always put off doing something like this using the excuse of shin splints and a bad back. The first 2 weeks were really tough and painful but after that I haven’t looked back. Advise to anyone is to just keep putting one foot in front of another and get through it. The sense of satisfaction when you complete is worth it all.
My top tip would be to spend 5 mins visualising each run before you set out, think about the point you will get tired etc. And how you’ll get through your route. Then when you hit a wall, you’ve already been there in your head and will find it easier to get through
