Tonight I completed Week 9, Run 3 and I'm extremely chuffed with myself. I would (and have been doing) recommend this programme to anyone. It's taken me longer than the 9 weeks through illness and occasional laziness (a condition I am afflicted with on occasions!) but I never would have imagined that I could run for 30 minutes.
I have already requested my shiny graduate badge!!
I must say this forum is truly inspirational and is such a supportive environment. It has been so motivating to read people's posts and to share their questions and I believe it's what has kept me going when I have thought about not going out for a run.
So well done to all and good luck in all your goals. My next goal is to actually try and run 5k (currently only managing 4k in 30 mins) and I am taking part in the Race for Life this Sunday, which appears to be a fitting way to celebrate graduating the programme. I will of course continue to draw inspiration from this fab forum!
To people just embarking on this, or thinking about it, I would say just believe in the programme and you'll get there xxxx
