Week 6 - Run 3

I was really excited for this run tonight, knowing that once I’d conquered it, I was only a short way away from 30 minutes.

I put my compeed plaster on (rubbed a heel blister during 6:2), but my new running socks hadn’t arrived (boo, hiss) and off I went. Felt it a little during the walk, but not at all once the run started. The first half was harder than the second, but as always I kept my pace slow and my breathing was easy throughout until the last minute, when I was able to push harder, so finished out of breath.

My legs felt so strong at the end and if I hadn’t sped up, I could definitely have gone for longer. Really looking forward to week 7
