Week 6 Run 3

Did the full 25 mins today. Was really shocked but well pleased as the first two runs I found harder than the WK 5 20 mins. The first few minutes were hard until I settled in to a rhythm. Then I just kept on going! Started moaning at Laura that she wasn't speaking to me and then she announced 12 mins! 20mins and then 60 secs. It was such an achievement for me. Then Laura announced to this overweight mumma you are officially a runner. That felt amazing. My legs felt like iron. So stiff I could hardly walk. But it was so worth it. Bring on week 7.

  • It's so strange isn't it, I also found w6r1 and w6r2 harder than the 20mins of w5r3! Well done on reaching 25mins, bet you didn't think you could reach that back when u were on w1r1! I came back from w7r2 tonight, and as soon as I finished the run and got back from the warm down, my body just suddenly felt knackered and I had to really fight to keep my eyes open to unlock my front door! Very odd sensation!
