Week 6, Run 2

Hello!! Hope you’re all well! Feeling a little demoralised this week as I felt awesome after last week’s 20 minuter and then on run 1 and 2 of this week 6 section I feel like I’m really struggling! I’m running slower after my last post but feel like I’m even struggling with my slow pace with this week’s runs 😩 I do have a bit of a cold so don’t know if that’s making it harder but did anyone else feel like this during this week? Feels like the hardest one so far! 😩

Of you go and look at a lot of people's posts on wk6 r1 and r2 there are nearly identical to yours. Don't worry it's part of the plan somehow. If you enjoyed wk5r3 , wk6r3 will be even better. Well done you 😊😊

Aww thank you for your reassurance 😊 I think I just felt like I was failing because I’d got to this point and was struggling but it’s all part of the process isn’t it like you say 😊 thank you for your words of wisdom x

As buddy said, week 6 runs 1 and 2 are often downers after the high of w5r3, don't worry, you've got this !

I think w5r3 was definitely a high so you’re right there and then I’ve felt like I’ve gone backwards with these 2 so I’m glad you know what I mean 😂 fingers crossed for w6r3 to bring the confidence back!

It’s a challenging week but overcoming it strengthens both your stamina and resolve. You did it cold and all. 👍 Rest now even for 2 days with your cold if needs be. Up the fluids and then back out there and nail 6:3. Take it slow, focus on your music and surroundings & bear in mind you are well prepared for it!!

After having a gap of 5 weeks and then feeling a bit light headed doing non stop running I’ve gone back to week 6 run 1 to get me back into it and loving it..do whatever feels right for you is my motto 😂

Great job. The intervals in week 6 feel like the hardest runs so far because they are the longest cardio workouts of the plan to that stage, the brisk walking between runs is cardio too! Enjoy run 3

Looking for inspiration and found your post. Feeling exactly the same from yesterday’s run. I can see you are ahead of me. Did it get better?

Do you know what, it did 😊 each run prepares you for the next one and if anything makes the next better one feel even better because you’ve got through those negative feelings back to a positive place! Stick with it and I promise you you’ll feel brilliant again 😊 You got this! You are always more capable than you think! Feel free to message again too! 😊👍
