Week 6 Run 3

Sunday 13th June 2021

It feels like we are getting towards the sharp end now

I don't know if anyone else feels like this but my body seems to adapt according to the run, for example a few days ago I ran 2 10 mins and felt I could not run anymore yet today I ran for 25 minutes.

Choosing a cooler morning was a good choice though did not stop me looking like I had run through a car wash by the end.

Once again I ignored speed and concentrated on trying for consistency. I am not there yet but for me I think trying for that is the key. If I don't run slow at the beginning I won't be running at all by the end.

Well done , and enjoy running at the sharp end πŸ˜πŸ‘What you said about running slow at the beginning will be crucial for the remainder of the program .

And of course future runs , especially when picking up the distance !

Good luck with the final weeks πŸ‘

. Happy Running !

Thank you. Indeed. Sometimes it is difficult as at the start my body wants to go naturally faster but at 12.5 mins it was very glad I didn't πŸ˜€. I think 5K will be my distance. Thank you

Yes it's tricky at the start, fresh legs always want to go faster 😁

Thank you. I definitely think so. I am nearly all legs so it is awkward to start with and then soon becomes more natural as I tire.

That's nice, thank you
