I’ve really enjoyed my running since I graduated a month ago. Have been consolidating with 3 runs a week, mixing up quicker 3k’s, a couple of slower 6k’s and some really comfortable 5k’s on new routes, different terrains and with music or podcasts depending on my mood. I also do 3 workouts a week; one HIIT, a bodytone & a legs, bums & tums.

I’m 56 and had never run before lockdown. The program was amazing and made me believe I could run and eventually come to enjoy it. It worked and today I’ve set another PB of 31m 57sec. Had to run the last 500m with my shoelace undone so pretty pleased with myself.

If you’re progressing through C25k and still feeing sceptical or like you’ll never get there, that was me. My advice: “believe”, It really does work.

Congratulations on that 5K time. I’m 57 and newly graduated but only running about 3.5K in 30 mins. Well done 🎉
