Planning for beyond graduation

As graduation from the program is fast approaching, I've been looking for way to keep myself motivated and getting out there. I saw mention of Runkeeper (can't remember if it was on this forum or another running forum) so downloaded it - it looks pretty good so will be trying it out after I graduate. Now that will keep me getting out there and to graduate as I can't wait to see what it does. Anyone else used it?

I use Map My Run which is good too, but same type of App I'm guessing. It feels strange to be a free runner after graduation but the three times a week every week really is excellent and then you can allow yourself to settle a little, thinking of new goals too if that is what you want

At the moment I am planning on running 3 times a week - OH is starting out on C25K today so I anticipate going out on the same days as him. Well, that's the plan - I have to graduate first but that is well under control.

I use Runkeeper - I've used it for 4 years now, and recently recorded my 300th run! :) I like the fact that I can look at info for each run on my phone or online on a computer - and get different info each way! :)

Runkeeper is a mobile app that uses the GPS in your phone to map your runs and record your pace and distance.

The upside if that it is free.

The downsides are that it is a bit of a drain of your phone battery and that the GPS hardware in your phone will be a bit less accurate than a dedicated GPS device (like a Garmin watch).

Thanks for the replies. I have a Fitbit Surge which will track my run. I wondered what the app was like
