I had to do it twice before I completed it yesterday, I knew when I did the first attempt I was going to fail before I even started so set off yesterday with a much more positive mind and even sped up for the last minute, you can do anything with the right mindset, well done fellow runner π
Fabulous! Well done you! Now really let yourself enjoy that feeling, bottle it up and bank it. This is a HUGE milestone and it is going to help you so much in getting to the end of this.
Don't overthink it, take it Slow, the 1st 10 mins are more of a mind battle, focus on your breathing and pace. By the time you reach halfway you should be able to focus on your music, or podcast or a daydream... whatever you prefer to zone into. YOU CAN DO THIS
I have the self pity giving up each time which will get me nowhere just completed week 4 but struggling so much with 5 minute run donβt see how I can go to week 5 but then like someone said 3 minutes seemed impossible
Well done I'm doing my week 6 r3 later today, find it hard to believe that I'm a runner!! Havnt ran since school days and that's a whole lifetime ago!!! Well done us!!!
Well done π it's such a great feeling isn't it (I ran mine yesterday too)
The first 10 mins I thought were the most difficult, keeping the right pace and sorting out my breathing and trying to shut out any negative thoughts. When Laura said I had reached halfway, then I started to believe I could do it and was going to finish.
I definitely prefer a longer run rather than a run, walk combo. Never thought I'd hear myself say that!
I too am looking forward to Sunday which is my week 7 R1π
Me to just completed my first ever 25min run. Very slow pace immediately, but I could managed 5 mins 6 weeks ago. Such an amazing feeling. Well done π
