Wow can't believe I made it to week 7. My first run tonight as an official 'runner' and I feared the weight expectation might get the better of me!
Didn't enjoy the first 12.5mins as had doubts mentally, however I managed to overcome those and the last 12.5 mins went very smoothly, near the end I even managed to pick up the pace and I could have ran for longer.
The program works everyone, just keep at it. Hope your runs are going well. πββοΈπππ

That was a good run for you today Cockneymick, toxic 10 in your run was toxic 12.5 minutes, you enjoyed it nevertheless, onto run 2 of week 7 on Wednesday, once again it is 25 minutes long, by the way, Wednesday the weather is to be a bit cooler, that might help you a bit.
Hi Al, thanks for that, yeah it was mind over matter really to overcome the toxic 12.5 mins. As it finished well I should be more confident on wednesday and yes the cooler weather will help. Thanks again. ππββοΈ
I did this run this evening too and for the first time I was able to relax, found a rhythm after about 7-8 minutes instead of my usual 15 and actually enjoyed the run.
And Iβve just done mine!! π Seems that youβre an evening runner and Iβm a morning! I saw this post just before I left so it really motivated me to finish, thank you π I did the same route as W6R3 and managed to run a bit further so Iβm so pleased! Well done us π
That's fantastic good for youπYes I run now at about 8pm each evening, much cooler and less people about. This site in general is a great motivator, though I'm glad I helped. Keep going! ππ
