Week 7 Run 1

Finally 🙀 run delayed due to a flooded park then ice and I’m too much of a coward still to run in daylight or public 🙁 2 attempts needed for this run the first one I went late in the afternoon but I think too soon after I had eaten as 10 minutes in I promptly threw up 🤮 out again early this morning and managed just to complete this the cold when I’m breathing nearly had my lungs failing me and before you all say buff I have one but I can only wear it for periods or I feel like I can’t breathe! Never mind moan over and run done!!! Woohoo!!

No not to tight I just feel sometimes I can’t get enough air into my lungs and I’m still at a snails pace so it’s not like I’ve speeded up 🙁

Right... I just wondered...hmm

Oh dear... I sometimes feel like that too, but I find my Buff is thin enough and loose enough to allow air flow. I do know what you mean though.

I find the air much too cold to go without... I was gasping the other Sunday!

Mind, that could just be me and old age!

Do you nose breather or mouth breathe.. ? Or both.. I tend to nose and mouth when I start and then just mouth..( noisily :) I only ask because i wondered about a running balaclava... I just got a great running top from Lidl with a built in one...!

I can’t run with a Buff over my face. I put it round my ears instead 🙂

Yeah going out too soon after food will make you feel sick. Which is why we say wait for an hour to 90 minutes

Never mind, you did it 😃👍✔️

I can't run with a buff over my face either - steams up my glasses!!! Then I get too hot and sweaty in the face which then gets icy cold when I take it down, unpleasant all round. I also hate running in daylight and public! Unfortunately only way to get over that is to do it, little by little. I still haven't got there yet.

It's bl**dy hard work all round when it's cold, breathing, legs, joints, all painful. Really well done for getting out there and over with!!

I can relate to absolutely everything you have just said Fishypieface! Maybe should have done this program in the summer lol but I’ve started it in the Canary Islands came home to finish it but the cold ice etc has held me back so I guess when I return to the Canary Islands in about 2 weeks I will hopefully graduate 😊
