Just completed my second run of week one. Definitely easier. Not physically, that was exactly the same and still tough, but mentally easier. I was prepared for what was coming, knew I could do it as I had done it before, and was less embarrassed. Nearly had a fat girl freak out before I began because there were a lot more people in the park and my husband and son were watching (oh the pressure!!), but I sucked it up and got it done and feel amazing now
Week one - run 2: Just completed my second run... - Couch to 5K

Well done you! 💪🏻 It sounds like you are in a good place mentally, so try and keep focused on that. The fitness will come with time.
Enjoy your rest and all the best for your next run.
Great! Alot of this is mental strength!
Keep on this challenge with that smile & you won’t go far wrong. Well done, what a great inspiration to all. 👏👏
Well done Runner_P takes a lot of courage to run when being watched, be proud and the very best of luck with your C25K journey 👍
Well done 😀

Well done! You owned your run - all yours, just for you. Bottle the feeling and use it. 😃
Smile of achievement 😁Well done ! It’s a fantastic feeling isn’t it🏃♀️🏃♀️🎉
😍👏🏻⭐️You fantastic person. Well done for talking down your demons and getting out there.
You are doing this for you. Don’t care what anyone else might think. I struggled with this and still feel awkward. But I want to be fit and healthy so if they don’t like my red face and my wobbly bits they can look somewhere else. 🙃
You’ve done amazingly! Congratulations! I’m a first time (very unfit and overweight) runner and I am now in week 5 of the program. Still find it hard physically but each week surprising myself more and more. You can do it! The first two weeks were the hardest for me 💛
Well done. It’s not always easy to run when you feel self conscious. I am in the obese category and have just run W5R2. The first one was really hard, I hadn’t run for that long for over 40 years! I realised I needed to invest in a sports bra (38J!) and that made such a lot of difference. My advice is to trust the programme, take one run at a time and go as slow as you can.
Woo hoo 👏👏👏👏👏👏. And you definitely look better than me after my runs! I feel embarrassed when I do my C25k runs (🐌) as well. It’s an extra burden and Challenge to overcome for older fatter people. So I console myself with the idea that we are the bravest and strongest bunch 💪💪💪. Well it works sometimes 🤣. Let’s keep going no matter what others think or say. Especially as we get so much support and encouragement from people who really understand on this forum.Yay and thanks to all. X
Well done. I'm planning to start tomorrow morning.
