Week 1 Run 2 Complete!

Well, second run of the first week done, and I actually still did mostly enjoy it. The problem I found was that because I'd heard the podcast before I was subconsciously counting the runs, which made things seem to take longer - the first time I had no idea how long I'd be running for, so I was just taking it one run at a time which was much easier/more enjoyable. Getting out of bed this morning was also a struggle (half an hour of alarm snoozing might have ensued before I managed to drag myself out of bed... xD), but Friday I definitely need to get out of bed as soon as my alarm goes off as this morning there were an increased number of people on the pavements (compared to Monday) and I nearly crashed into two different people as I ran round a corner xD Definite disadvantage of running in a city. But I'm proud I've done two runs this week, and look forward to my third on Friday :)

Great job, well done. Finding an empty pavement, park or trail is tricky but it can be done. Mind you having folks about in many respects is a good thing

Keep plugging away at the runs, nice and slowly does it ✔️👍😃

It's definitely helping with my confidence in that I can't avoid people so I care less about what I look like? But also has drawbacks, yeah... :P

Thanks, will do ^-^

Yay Well done ! I used to feel very self conscious when I started , but after a while it no longer bothered me . :-)

Youre doing great, keep going ! :-) xxx

Thanks :) Yeah, self consciousness is one of the reasons I'd prefer to run earlier on Friday, but also just so I don't end up accidentally knocking over unsuspecting members of the public xD xxx
