So I got back from work and really wasn’t feeling in the mood for a run. I had already done 7200 steps and had a hard week at work, 5 hours sleep last night and my knees and shins were sore. I was contemplating leaving it until tomorrow, but I know tomorrow might never come.
I pulled myself together and went and I’m so glad I did. Covered more distance, went faster (I know that’s not the point of this programme) and it all felt easier than Monday’s run. The 90 seconds run felt shorter and the 2 minute walk seemed too long. Roll on Fridays run.

I have never regretted going out, only ever procrastinating 👍
Wow, result! Brilliant that you found it easier despite going quicker and not even wanting to go in the first place. The first step out the front door is often the hardest one, the ' I don't feel like it' gremlin the loudest one! But the rewards are almost always worth that initial effort. Week 2 will be in the bag before you know it
