I was absolutely sure that this run was the worse run of the entire programme for me as the whole of it felt like I didn't get over the toxic 10 but to my amazement.... it was actually the best statistically wise.
I covered the furthest distance and my speed was nice and even throughout.
I was so sure that this run was a bad run for me. The wind was strong and I felt I had to exert more energy to get through it. At one point I was beginning to wonder if I would get this run done but then that's where the mental thoughts come in...
"I'm here and I won't be doing this run again, slow and steady, you've done it before so you can do it again, come on girl." All sorts were running through my mind to keep me going.
Just take things steady and try not to get carried away too early - you can do that towards the end as much as you like! 😊
Best of luck with graduating on Saturday. 🤞 Let us know how it goes 🙂
Thank you. That's the thing... I wasn't trying to go fast at all. I actually felt as if today's run was the slowest I've ever done but apparently it wasn't. Your words of advice are duly noted though. ☺
Brilliant - I just know you'll get there! It's so encouraging to keep reading about your determination to get this done, you've done fantastically. You're so close
I can't wait to read your inevitable post on Saturday

Thank you. I will surely be updating as soon as I've finished that run on Saturday.
OOOh - can't wait....I am going to run Sunday I think (late night friday) - but you never know! Go Girl....I will be whooping in the background throughout!
Well done Donna . One more left ..You can do this... Your an inspiration . ..Look forward to your graduation on Saturday ..Take care and slow n steady ...Hope you've ordered your shiny medal ..Mine is in the post ...Thanks for letting us know about the c25k medal .. as I wouldn't have known . All the best girl 😊😊
Thank you. I haven't gotten around to ordering it yet but then I generally don't like to push my luck or fate. I try not to celebrate or order things for an achievement not achieved yet.
I will however do it on Saturday if all goes well. 😊
Go for it Donna, you’ve come this far, just one more - will be thinking of you and all the others doing that run this week - go for it, you will feel amazing -and so rightly pleased with yourself 😎
Thank you. I have no doubt the feeling will be great and so long overdue too as I originally started this programme last year September and couldn't finish it then.
Well done sweetie- that is a hard one - well I thought so. Some of us (Monsieur Sallenson) found it easier than run 1. 🙄. Graduation run for me tomorrow but I’m scared I’m not gonna do it for some reason- it’s the first time I’ve felt like that. Good luck for Saturday.

Thank you.
And Sallenson is in a world of his own right now with his 5.2km under his belt and his jelly babies finally out to celebrate with him. Lol
Don't be scared because you will do it. Whether you run slow, slower or join Sallenson in the double celebration of graduating and running 5km in 30 minutes is another story but you will graduate. We all have faith in you.
I’ve found that a couple of times now, stats were at odds with how I felt a run go. Fingers crossed your graduation run has no toxicity in it only a big warm glow of achievement 🤞
