A glorious morning in London and the city is coming to life. My warm up walk took a little longer after bumping into a friend in the street and having a socially distanced chat in the early morning sunshine. Only to find my first espresso since lockdown appearing from the local cafe owner and good friend who is closed but had spotted us! Lovely. 🌈
Carried on and ran happily for 30 minutes with a PB pace. Blame it on the caffeine 😂😂
Then arrived back, sat in the sunshine and noticed a message from a wonderful elderly scientist (I work in a science organisation) telling me to always remember “there are photons of light at the end of this long tunnel”.
A reminder of the beauty of mother nature, running .... and caffeine 😉❤️
Happy Saturday everyone

I live in Northumberland and was due to visit London at the end of March to see the Tutankhamun exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. I just wished I had booked my ticket for earlier in the year as I am very unlikely to see it now.
That is such a shame. A wonderful exhibition. But who knows what other wonderful things lie ahead, difficult as that is to imagine at the moment. At least we have our running 😉
