Wk 6 R1

I’m dead. Feck that was tiring... it might be because I left a celebratory 4 days between ( Wk5 R3 ) and this one, but it’s 8pm, 4 hours on and my bones are heavy as lead... am totally wiped out. Anyone else get floored by Wk6R1?

Sorry I don’t mean to put you off, but I guess if you know that it might be tiring and go into it knowing that, you’ll get through. Make sure you have lots of energy before you start.

Don’t worry you haven’t put me off! My friends are two weeks ahead of me and have given me lots of warning about how difficult it is after doing w5r3!! So I’m prepped! I deffo think lots of sleep and water is key!

It's a common feeling! After the euphoria of W5R3 intervals feel tough again and what we think should be easy, simply isn't.

You got through it though. The longer break won't have helped much either! 👍🏻😁

Hi, there are lots of posts about 6/1, it seems very common. I really struggled on the middle run but managed to finish it, last Wednesday. I usually only have one or two rest days, but this time I had 3 days off, went out this morning and week 6 run 2 seemed a lot easier. It seems I wasn't drinking enough water! Good Luck!
