I've completed wk 9 r1 whoop !

I ran to work , in the rain , oh no I wasn't letting a bit of rain put me off . I put my Aldi rainproof running jacket on & i was off , it wasn't a walk in the park , but I did it ! Covered 4.52 k & that included 5 min walk but can only improve , I ran to work again , just had my shower & I'd better get to it now , really pleased with myself I'm on a high , lol no doubt I'll be boring a few round here today ha ha .

What I love is that we all start at the same level regardless and have a real sense of achievement when complete a week. I've never kept going for this long before!

Me too I start things gym , swimming & get bored , but running i know I'm going to stick with it , it's tough but doable if you know what I mean . Yes it's that feeling after a run & the sense of achievement . Can't wait for spring when I'm running them 5ks in under 30 lol . Put it this way I'm going to have a bloody good try .

I don't know what I admire more; the fact that you run to work or the fact that you then have a shower etc. I'd NEVER get up early enough to do all that! Haha! Well done Rockette. You're so close now! If it's any consolation I've become a C25K evangelist too! Mind you. three other people have started the programme as a result of my FB posts so it's all good! Good luck with Run 2.

Thanks Jen , I know can't believe I'm doing it either ! I'm all ways last one in , it's a running joke , allways late , na I'm up , off n showered , n there waiting for rest of them on run days . Good luck with your runs , my next in morning , going to try a dummy park run .
