Wow! Didn't think I would make it with arthritic knees, but after first 5 mins of each run, they calmed down. The hardest thing wasn't the physical side; it was getting out of the front door! Now how do I maintain this without my buddy Sarah Millican?

Whoop I completed W9 yesterday too! I think Iβm just going to carry on with Jo, maybe just replay whichever run Iβm doing that day if thatβs possible? π€
Well done! I don't think Sarah will mind if you "borrow" her for a few runs when you repeat the final run. She's a good egg π
Now you can enjoy the freedom of just running and exploring (current conditions allowing). Some people love Nike run club when they miss the voice in their ear. Have fun!
Well done, brilliant.
I've been running from Sep 2018 and know what you mean about aches and pains. I have arthritis in my hip. Often used to wake up during the night with the pain but rarely now. I heard from somewhere running strengthens bones but not cycling or swimming which are still good for fitness.
Some days don't want to run but once I start all the bad feelings go away, and I feel great at the end. It certainly helps my hip, and other probs, but I'm not sure about knees; be careful don't push too hard.
Congratulations, runner!!!!
