I haven’t posted on here before as it’s not really my style to share my red faced, huffing and puffing journey. However, having just completed C25K I wanted to say thank you to all of you for posting your positive comments and encouragement each week. They have been invaluable. I’ve never been sporty and definitely never been a runner. Always picked last in PE at school, never enjoyed exercise. That’s still the case to be fair (I’m still waiting for the runners high everyone talks about) but I did it. I persevered and I completed the 9 weeks. It wasn’t easy. Who knew 60secs could be so long week 1. Week 2 I got terrible pain down the side of my legs and I’d end up hobbling back on my warm down walk, a visit to a sports physio who did a gait analysis and provided me with 6mm lifts in my trainers and some stretches and away I went. No more pain. Amazing! Week 5 came the chesty cough so I took a few days rest and then back at it none the worse for the break. Weeks 6,7,8 and 9 took perseverance and sheer force of will to get through but this morning I did it. Go me!!!!
Thank you C25K community for getting me through it. Now the hard work begins.....going it alone without Laura to keep Me going. 😬🏃🏻♀️

Congratulations... slow some runs right down and just celebrate the fact you can run, that’s where my love of this is. Enjoy celebrating and consolidating (you can still take Laura with you sometimes!)
Congratulations on getting through to the end of week 9. I’m new to here but found it when looking for reassurance that I can do this. I start week 5 tomorrow. Posts like yours are just the inspiration I need.
Massive congratulations, GGR 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nothing to stop you enjoying Laura’s company whenever you’re out: that’s what the repeat function is for ! Happy running 😄
Well done for persevering and getting through it. We all support each other on here and it’s a great feeling to know that other C25k folks are here for advice, sometimes a shoulder to cry on and sometimes to share victories with. Here’s to many more posts from you in the future, happy running.
