Exactly 2 months after my w1r1 I have run for 36 minutes and covered 4.42k.
I am 53 and a stone overweight. I know its been said many times, but this program really is incredible. I love what it has helped me to achieve. I will do consolidation runs for a few weeks, aim to run 5k and join some parkruns when they start up again.
Its great, isnβt it!

Congratulations and well done. You may find that weight will come off when your consolidating. I lost 23lbs and I did not really need to. I graduated in March 2019 and between February 2019 and the September this weight disappeared. Good luck keep running.
Thatβs interesting, Papillon. I havenβt lost any weight doing the program but itβs not actually very much exercise until the last couple of weeks. I hope some does drop off now!
I ended up having medical checks for sudden weight loss but it was confirmed that I had to monitor my weight and that it was likely my metabolic rate had stepped up so had to eat more. Pretty stable now. Weight back to what I was in the late 70βs when I was 18, loss probably 3β off the waist if not more and now struggling with clothes for 31β waist and having to adjust all the belts π
Like you in in my 50βs and err slightly overweight - Iβm in my 3rd week of consolidation now (30 mins or 5k depending on how I feel) and have noticed weight dropping now. Iβm no longer obese, merely overweight!
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K π ππΎ π
