Week9, run 3 - dunnit!

Exactly 2 months after my w1r1 I have run for 36 minutes and covered 4.42k.

I am 53 and a stone overweight. I know its been said many times, but this program really is incredible. I love what it has helped me to achieve. I will do consolidation runs for a few weeks, aim to run 5k and join some parkruns when they start up again.

Its great, isn’t it!

I have work today but will celebrate later ☺️

Congratulations and well done. You may find that weight will come off when your consolidating. I lost 23lbs and I did not really need to. I graduated in March 2019 and between February 2019 and the September this weight disappeared. Good luck keep running.

That’s interesting, Papillon. I haven’t lost any weight doing the program but it’s not actually very much exercise until the last couple of weeks. I hope some does drop off now!

I ended up having medical checks for sudden weight loss but it was confirmed that I had to monitor my weight and that it was likely my metabolic rate had stepped up so had to eat more. Pretty stable now. Weight back to what I was in the late 70’s when I was 18, loss probably 3” off the waist if not more and now struggling with clothes for 31” waist and having to adjust all the belts πŸ˜‚

Congratulations on graduating!!!

Like you in in my 50’s and err slightly overweight - I’m in my 3rd week of consolidation now (30 mins or 5k depending on how I feel) and have noticed weight dropping now. I’m no longer obese, merely overweight!

I’m sure the same will happen with you as well.

Thank you, and congrats to you too, Reggit! I hope I do see some weight loss over the next few weeks; it is comforting to hear that happen to others x
