I finally did it! I started at the beginning of the year, a couple of weeks before my 66th birthday. It’s actually taken me a wee bit longer than 9 weeks to complete but I don’t care! I did it and it feels great and I feel great. I’ve found so far that I like running. My aim now is to consolidate what I’ve achieved for the next 2 to 3 weeks and then start to include gradually some steeper inclines/hills. I’m just so proud and chuffed with myself.
So if you’ve just started this journey, well done and just think what you can achieve if you keep at it.
