I did R2 on Friday which felt tough, it was a push to finish it. Had the little devil in my left ear saying 'you can stop if you want, it doesn't matter'
And the little angel in my right ear 'you're almost there, got to get out your comfort zone to get stronger'. I listened to the angel and got it done.
R3 today was an enjoyable run. I even upped my pace for the last minute.
Maybe the devil don't work on Sundays ๐

Brilliant! Well done! Am eyeing up the skies to try and measure when the rain is going to hit (is due) and meant to be out on my W4R2. I seriously did not think would be able to make the leap to W4R1 and the first 5 mins run I almost gave up (same devilish thoughts, "you are not ready, repeat W3" etc...) but just sang along louder in my head to my music and pushed through. Was absolutely elated by time finished. Trying hard to remember that feeling now! Using your post as my motivation.
Get yourself out there, I'm sure you'll do good. I sing along to music too, I think 'get through this song and the 5 mins will be nearly up' ๐๐โโ๏ธ
That's exactly what I do too! I have just gone through my playlist taking out all the slower songs and adding a few more upbeat ones. It definitely helps if the music is egging you on! Right! Am out the door now! Thanks for the motivation! Will report back.
Thank you! That is seriously what is pushing me through. Also realising that if I can push through it sometimes gets easier, loosens up on that same run. I definitely find the first part of the run harder.
