Finally. I’m actually finding it easier to keep running and not do the walking bits in between. Except when I get lost in the fields and have to stop and try and get Google Maps on my phone. But there was no signal. Spent ALL of the walking time in one lump, faffing with phone, swearing, and deciding which way to go.
When I got home, a neighbour wanted to try C25K, so I did week 1 run 1 with him. He’s pretty fit and chatted all the way. When I think back to how I was on my first run, I think he’s going to find this easy. I struggled way more than him. He did set off rather fast though, so I slowed him down to a better pace to start at.

I am so impressed that you didn't need the walk breaks ! Getting lost in a field and having no signal sounds about right - that's life showing you that you can do anything!! lolwell done for helping your neighbour too - what a lovely thing to do.
I’m a second time around C25Ker, and perfectly capable of doing a slow 5km, but needed the structure, and wondered if doing it again would speed me up. I should have put that in my post so as not to be misleading, sorry. Hopefully next run, I can use the walking breaks to admire the scenery instead of walking round in circles in a field staring at my phone.
Apart from the tech failure and getting lost, week 4 done, week 5 to look forward to and encouraging a new convert to C25k, you’ve had a great week Baddie 👍
