Ran a different route tonight - week 2 of consolidation running. I've got to be honest, I hate inclines no matter how gentle they might be. On a positive note, I'm increasing my stamina, if not my speed.

I agree, I'm not a fan of inclines either. Well done for finding the positives in them though ππ
Happy running ππͺπ
Well done! I avoid hills at all costs π
Agreed! Accidentally did my w6r1 on a path with SIGNIFICANT inclines... that was a mistake ππ now I know I should try walking a new path before I run it because it was a nasty surprise to see a big hill right after I was told to start running!
I hate them too! I'm hoping that I can build up my stamina before graduation. Keep your focus on the positives. You're running and that's a fantastic achievement!π
Hills are good strength builders . Question of tackling the right ones and not running them too often to start with. Like everything else, you just build it up at your pace. Shortening stride and lifting your knees up a bit more on up hills helps too. There are loads of YouTube videos on the topic.
