W4R3 looking ahead to mixing it up in W5

W4R3 done and I really enjoyed it too surprisingly given I had no rest day and did over 10 miles all brisk yesterday.

So a nice 3 day break for me with some lovely walking in the New Forest and Solent coast. Then I’m so excited for week 5 on Monday 😜 this programme really does work, for so much more than being able to run, jog, wobble or whatever your version looks like it’s the mental well-being and self discipline it develops within you I like the best.

Good luck to all wherever you are on your own journey.

All the very best with week 5. Weeks 5 and 6 are fabulous as they really move you forward in your belief in what you can do. And once they are do e it feels like a different programme... no more short intervals around d the football pitch for me. It's off and out down the river and seeing new things. Enjoy! :)

That all sounds really positive, but please do take your rest days.

They are crucial to development for new runners.

Take care.

I know I’m usually very disciplined and follow the programme it’s just this once due to a holiday that’s all

That is all it takes, if you are unlucky.
