Just about to do first week 8 run

Have rested up all week due to the plantar issues .

I’m nervous but I am feeling so in need of a run ! This must mean I am a runner ?

Do you use any inserts in your shoes? and do you regularly stretch your plantar through the day? i am forever stretching mine, have done now for years, there are some good stretches you can do without much effort. Not used my insoles for years now, had no need.

Let me know what you do for your pain?

Not a problem I have been there this time last year and whilst I did not have the plantar issues I had the ill health of my mum trying to run and visit her and losing her on my graduation day. You can do this, stick to the programme have at least one day if not two days rest in between but you can achieve this. The weight you want to lose as long as your eating healthy and doing this will come off believe me I lost 18lbs that I didn’t need to lose and began to look like an extra from tenko

Oh I”m so sorry you have been through it ! I have a lot of weight to lose so as you say, slow and steady . Well done for getting through it . It’s truly inspirational how people on here are so committed to this programme. It has helped me so much . With hard work comes success

You will be fine trust the programme plenty of fluids, and run slow there is no rush it’s designed to get you to 30 mins running and by the end you will. Afterwards believe me the world will be your oyster.

Hi Lizzie

I suffer with plantar issues brought these off Amazon . OR8 Wellness PLANTAR NIGHT SOCK. They really help with the stretching I never have managed to sleep with them on but I'll put them on in the evening when watch tv or something and you can adjust the stretch. Be warned though they are very sexy 😂😂
