Don’t beat yourself about the distance. We to need to maintain the time running too. Keep going 😊
I’m nearly at Week 8, I’ll be lucky to make 4K let alone 5K 🙂 Don’t worry about distance, it’s getting the stamina for 30minutes that’s key. I’m grateful for any movement I’m doing considering 7 weeks ago I was on the couch 😃
Keep going - I graduated 18 months ago and have still not done 5k in 30 minutes - but I’m fitter, and still getting faster, and still running. It’s all about the 30 minutes at this stage, not the distance covered. It’s a catchy name but doesn’t really reflect the achievement. You’ll have bad days and good days, most important thing is to keep going... well done on what you have achieved so far.
You are not doing anything wrong.
because C25k is duration based, at your own pace, then not all runners are going to hit 5k at graduation.......in fact only about 12% did in a poll on this forum.
Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.
You are doing great......enjoy it.
I just did this run and only made it just OST 3k, it’s really not important 😊
Just home after W8 R2....only just covering 2 miles, but for some reason today was a proper struggle, think I need a couple of days rest in between sessions now they are getting longer 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
The aim is to run for 30 minutes 3 times per week not for 5k, the title is misleading.
I wish someone would explain why they named it wrong and change it.
