I’d say stay at week 8 until you feel comfortable with it. I’ve just come back from W8R2 and definitely finding those extra 3 minutes tough. Couldn’t have run another step tonight so will see how the next one goes. If it’s still a struggle then I’ll do 28 minutes a couple more times. Good luck!
That’s what I thought but when I ran tonight it wasn’t especially warm so I can’t even use that as an excuse! I find the time of day makes a difference. During the week after work is always harder than an early morning weekend run. Next run is Sunday morning so hopefully I won’t prove myself wrong!!
It’s weird how our minds play tricks on us isn’t it! You can do 25 minutes because you did them last week so do them first really slowly and then only worry about the last 3 minutes when you come to them and by then you can think well I’ve done 25 so I can do another 3 and go absolutely slowly 🐌 if this makes sense 😂
I play tricks all the time when I’m running if I’m feeling really tired I think I’ll just keep going to the end of this song then I get to it and think ok then one more song and before I know it I’ve plodded to the end 🐌😊
