Just completed week 8 run 2, despite being slow, and only running/plodding on a track, at nearly 62 I am nearly there, aiming to complete a week on Monday prior to going on holiday on the Wednesday. My calfs still hurt but I just get on with it and stretch after

Try magnesium oil spray to your sore calves, or take a magnesium supplement, or soak in a magnesium flake bath, or all three! I find them all useful for sore muscles. And running /plodding on a track is brilliant! Well done!

Well done. Just finished week 8 run 1 and found it very hard. Didn’t think I would make it to the end. Struggled to get a rhythm going even though I am a jogger not a runner. But Laura got me through it. Thinking of leaving 2 days between runs to see if it makes it any easier.
