Hi all you lovely people, I got to wk7 run one done. Then got flu, I imagine I will not run until midweek should I start wk 7 again or go back to week 6, I am so disappointed 😞

Just carry on with your next run, you should be fine 👍 You don’t really lose any conditioning for 3 weeks so just see how you feel. If it was me I’d do the next one 🏃🏻‍♀️ Hope you’re feeling better soon 🤞

That flu can knock you flat I know I had it and for our first run back we did a very slow 15 minutes and have built up from there so i’d suggest when you feel well enough to run take one run off plan, just see what you are comfortable with and see what happens then you will know where to start

You won’t lose fitness taking a break of a couple of weeks but you might not have much energy after flu for a while

I had flu a few weeks ago and ended up in hospital so you do have my sympathy it’s horrible

As it states in the guide to the plan (along with a lot of other info) you lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of non running.
