Did my week4 run 2 this morning found it really hard I kept going but think it was the worse run I’ve had so far I felt like giving up I was so glad when it was over with my next run is Thursday I’m hoping it will get better feel like I hit a brick wall this morning 🙈

Well done on completing your run today. I started W4 today and found it really tough but reading everyone's posts on here, makes me realise I'm not alone in feeling this way. I don't suppose I expected it to be easy but we're getting there aren't we? Keep it up! 👏

Probably Monday morning blues lol 😆

Hiya mate. I am only on wk2 run 1 however I know through experiences training with my sport (boxing) that you will hit brick walls, literally sometimes for me haha some of the women I spa are like(Strong) brick walls 😂, my trainer always says to me to practice before moving on. So maybe just try that run again. No rush to move on is there ? Good luck mate x

Any tips with shin splints?

Some runs are just like this - hopefully the next one will be more enjoyable. Well done for completing it 👍😁

You did the run, that's great! Over the next day or two your muscles will repair themselves and adapt to the new stresses you're putting on them - ie, you will get stronger, ready for the next run.

Having said that, we all have bad days. I often find the runs I'm geared up for are disappointing, and the runs I have no expectations of are satisfying.

It's up to you, but I'd only repeat a run I hadn't actually completed. Chalk it up as an experience and move on.

The fact you kept going shows that you can do this. Sometimes bad runs creep in and knock our confidence. But, you’ve been in training, the program works. Nice and slow one step at a time 🙂
