Week4 run 2.

That was quite difficult. R2 seemed harder than R1. I had bit of break over half term, and tried runs on treadmill. Not sure I liked it, though dodged the wind and rain. Just need to keep at it. Weight is not shifting, bit disappointed. Blood pressure stabilising at good level. Guess just have to be happy with that. ๐Ÿ˜’

Keep going it took a few weeks for me to shift some pounds i lost two stone altogether although i was watching the calories a bit too. It is difficult if you're overweight like me, i graduated some time ago and have been running 5k for some time. Due to illness i had to take a 2 week break and my fitness levels declined and im desperately trying to get it back. Like you treadmilis are not for me. You might think you will never get there but you absolutely will and it's amazing and such an achievement it will give you a massive boost. Well done you!

Make sure you are keeping a slow pace as you continue to run.

Weight loss may happen eventually, more so when you are doing the longer runs 3x per week but you have to be mindful of what you are eating. Good luck ๐Ÿ˜Š

Keep going. Early days still. Unfortunately exercise alone won't shift wait especially in these early stages, have a look at diet and try swapping in healthy options and smaller portions filling up with water to aid recovery. Good luck you can do this, slow but sure.

Run 2 of every week seems harder to me. But in my head, I know I try to push a little harder, learn my mistake and take r3 a bit more steady.

Re: weight, forget about the scales. You ain't gonna shift any weight doing this. Maybe instead, you should measure inches. You might find that your weight stays the same (may even goes up a little) but your waistline will shrink. That's a much better indicator of the health benefits.

Good luck, and well done for keeping at it.

You are still very very early in your running adventure- give it more time. Running and healthy eating will get you there. ๐Ÿ˜„ Youโ€™re already seeing results- thereโ€™s lots more excellent benefits to come! ๐Ÿ˜„

I prefer outside to the treadmill- I never can quite get over the feeling that I might be catapulted off the back & it does weird things to my balance. ๐Ÿ˜‚
