Finally after procrastinating for a week or so, I did it, yay!
I was glad I'd joined this forum beforehand though, because a couple of times during the run part I felt it was too much (64 yrs old and not run for 40 years) but I remembered people saying just do it you'll be so proud, so I did, and I am. Slow jog, following Laura's podcast to the letter, had a glass of water and did some stretches and ate a banana on my triumphant return home (anyone would think I'd just run a marathon instead of shuffled 8 measley minutes in the local park!

Congratulations on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1 and welcome to the forum, yes you should be very proud of yourself, don't worry about "shuffleing around your local park" onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1 😊👍🏃🏾
Good Luck to you. The hardest and bravest run is that first one. Stick with it, trust the programme. I’m on week 6 now and can’t believe my progress after too many years of inactivity.
