I did run 1 week 1!!

Just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement as I did my first run this morning under the shadow of dawn! Wasn't easy as I'm definitely overweight, but that's why I'm doing this, right? I've worked out my route and run days so I'm focused. Here's to a fitter future 😁

Congratulations to you Purpleelk on completing run 1 of week 1 of C25K, some say that's one of the hardest runs of the program, I am glad that you have picked your route and running days, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1 in a couple of days time

we’ll done. That’s brilliant. The program works. And this is from someone who’s never run and can now run for 25mins 7 weeks into the program. Keep it up with the great start 🥳

Well done you, I hope you’re so proud of yourself. I’ve just started again after giving up last year.

Stick with it 🤩

Good for you! Im the same, just started week 3. When I run, my bum seems to run in different pace and direction to the rest of me! So definitely need to loose a lit of weight! We can do it!

This is where supportive leggings are your friend! I ran in some regular leggings when washing day hadn’t happened and all my gym ones were dirty. The difference was massive-jiggles all over the place! Not a mistake I’ll make again.

I ran in shorts for the first time last year on holiday, and didn’t dare look down - thighs swinging from side to side like pendulums! At least they had a tan, so that’s one thing I guess 🤣.

I can totally relate to this except without the tan!

One of the best things about running is it’s given me a much healthier attitude to my body-now I’m much less bothered about what I look like and more concerned with what it can do!
