Its been 12 days since I completed the programme. Due to night shifts and the most horrific viral throat infection I've ever had I took a week off. Tonight I went for that 1st run, I repeated a run from w9 as I wasnt quite confident to go it alone and get comfort from laura popping up now and again. The first 10 mins killed me lol how I carried on I dont know but once I got my rhythm was all good and I even managed an extra 2.5 mins on top so smashed the 5km tonight, still did 10 mins walking. Tonight's run felt amazing, just got to find a way to be supported and motivated during my runs. Happy running guys πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ…β€πŸ˜Š

Brilliant running Beckyboo. That's great after nearly 2 weeks 'off'. I think you will get lots of help here and on the other forums - we won't let you stop!. Little goals at a time I reckon and keep reminding yourself what you've achieved so far and keep it going... πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Yay, well done!! I’ve had a week off too with a niggle. I went through that feeling this morning when I set off. Was actually questioning myself why I bother cos I bloody hate running 😀 turned a corner and the wind was to the side of me rather than in my face and I suddenly felt fab! The sun was out and I thought I bloody love running πŸ˜‚ I just picked my route and listened to a mix on Spotify but am missing Laura. Have used her podcasts too which helps. Maybe u could try? Also heard people talk about Nike run club... not looked into it but I think it coaches u. Not sure if u use that rather than strava though cos I’m kinda a bit of a technophobe πŸ™ˆ Glad ur feeling better 😘

I wasnt very prepared so will definitely try a podcast as maybe listening to someone talk rather than music may bring a whole new experience. Glad your still enjoying outdoor running and it's not too chilly for you 🀞😘

Well done you, I think it's the hardest thing ever to run again after a break! I listened to a run from week 9 for a while after graduating and it wasn't until my first park run where my headphones failed so I ran "naked" that I realised I could actually do it by myself πŸ˜‚

I've now started listening to podcasts when I run and it's great! Easy way for the time to pass without realising!
