Oh, gloom!

Tried week 3, run 1 today but could only do 2 minutes of the final run. Not sure why. Thought I'd have a 90 second walk then another 2 minute run but couldn't even do that. Try again on Friday On the positive side, I know that week 1 would seem very easy now. πŸ˜€

On here we just call it a practice run. Just go slow and slower again, I'm sure you'll be fine next time .

I don't mind saying it took me 17 weeks to complete c25k and I think most of the time it was because I wasn't going slow enough. Good luck 😊😊

Don't knock yourself Jansey- you completed the first 3 minute run. That takes some mental focus after the W2 90 sec runs. So, well done you πŸ‘. W1 seems a lifetime ago, doesn't it?! I'm still feeling flattened by a heavy cold and haven't had the inclination to attempt W3R2 yet, and I'm missing the challenge it brings! Onwards and upwards πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ - you'll do it on Friday πŸ’ͺ

It took me a few attempts to do WE, R1 so I'm not too disheartened, more annoyed with myself! I hope your cold gets better soon. It can really sap your energy. ❀️

Yes, Buddy says it all. I’m sure you’ll be fine next time if you slow down 😁

Thank you. The first three minutes was easier than expected so I'm determined to complete it next time.

Yes, for sure. It’s surprising how just slowing down a little bit makes all the difference πŸ‘πŸ˜

Well done......you gave it a go.

If any run is tough, then just slow down.

On the other hand most new runners seem to think that they can suddenly bolt on physical exercise to their lives with no adaptation to the rest of their habits.........prepare for each run by being rested and well hydrated in the preceding 24 hours........otherwise, dial back the demands and expectations on your body.

You are doing great.
