So after 5 towns / cities 3 airports (one x2) 1 cancelled flight 1 missed connection 2 accommodations a cancelled taxi and a car hire whilst stranded in Italy with my disabled sister and elderly mother plus 2 missed work days and a lot of expense I am finally home! Exhausted 😩🇮🇹 I am a week behind now on my running and didn’t get in til 1am and I’ve had no sleep for days - I so wasn’t feeling this run but after a day of avoidance I decided that if I didn’t do it now I never would so I went out and smashed it! I’m so chuffed with myself! 😀 I thought I’d lost it there for while! 👏 back in the game!

Good grief!

That does sound awful.

So good to hear that you managed to pick up again after all that and kick start the programme.

That doesn’t sound like the relaxing holiday we wish for. Running is definitely the way to get it out of your system. Well done!

Good work. Sometimes a run is just the thing we need after a heap of adversity. Catharsis in trainers.
